FYI A small plant to 10 inches with pale yellow-green FLOWERS having fused petals and sepals with a raised white spot at the base of each petal; flowers are hermaphrodite. LEAVES are linear-lobed. SEED PODS are yellow. Native to the southwestern United States. §

Has been used medicinally by Native Americans to treat swellings.
The berries were eaten by the Hopi of Arizona.
