AMBROSE
aka Giant Ragweed, Herba Sancti Mariae
(Ambrosia trifida)

This plant can cause contact dermatitis.
Although not normally attractive to livestock, it does become attractive to them after it has been sprayed with the herbicide 2,4-D.
Toxic levels accumulate in the plant and poison livestock which feed on it.

PROPAGATION: By seed in spring and will reseed itself readily.
NEEDS: It requires rich well-drained soil and full sun.
