PEACH
(Prunus persica)

PART USED: Leaves.

USES

MEDICINAL:
Diuretic, sedative, expectorant.
Possesses mild sedative properties used for nervous conditions.
Has been used for chronic bronchitis and chest congestion.
Said to be helpful for nausea, but too much is laxative.
INFUSION = Steep 1 level tsp of leaves in 1 C. water for 10 minutes.

DYE:
Leaves yield a yellow with an alum mordant.
