MEDICINAL USES:
Primary adaptogen.
Used in traditional Chinese tonic formulas. Considered to balance all body systems.
Often combined with Eleuthero (Siberian ginseng) in adaptogenic formulas.
Strengthens, protects and supports liver and liver function.
Has been used for difficulty in digesting fatty food.
Has been used for acne.
